Has anyone done an upgrade from 7.6.1 to 7.6.7 of dev studio? We have only a production instance of web focus and are going to be forced to implement directly in production (please no comments about foolish, I have 30 yrs in IT and am being forced to do it this way). Thank you in advance for any assistance and/or tips that you may have.

Prod: WF 7.7.05, BID, MRE, 7.7.06M Server, Windows 2008, RedHat, Oracle 11gR1, MS Office 2010
Test: I wish we had one!

We did an update from 7.1.5 to 7.6.5
We spend several days on testing all fexes on dashboard and reportcaster, ETL processes and several others you should do.
The number of errors we found were no more than 20, we fixed them and did the upgrade in real live.
If we had not done it this way the problems we found would not have been very important and should have been fixed on the same day.

What we did not found in the tests were the few problems we got with user logins.
It worked a bit different. (We game from 7.1 tot 7.6).
I suppose 7.6.1 to 7.6.7 is in fact a minor update.

There is a hotfix available for 767 devstudio. You need it if the java application server you are connecting to is configured for codepage 65001 (utf-8). Contact support.

We went from Dev Studio 7.6.4 to 7.6.7 and had to re-install 7.6.4.

Found that Dev Studio couldn't open report painter with simple code as below:

APP PREPENDPATH IBISAMP
APP FI DNL012H01 DISK BASEAPP/DNL012H01
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
COMPUTE R1B01/A8 = EDIT(WEIGHT,'$$$9-99'); AS 'TEST'
COUNTRY
CAR
MODEL
BODYTYPE
SEATS
DEALER_COST
RETAIL_COST
SALES
LENGTH
WIDTH
HEIGHT
WEIGHT
WHEELBASE
FUEL_CAP
BHP
RPM
MPG
ACCEL

ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE HOLD AS DNL012H01 FORMAT ALPHA
END

Seems like it wasn't seeing or evaluating the ...

APP PREPENDPATH IBISAMP

Contacted support and they're working on it.
