Hi,

I'm currently working on a Active Dashboard and the following question came up. Is it possible to change the color of the tab's that are automaticly created when you have multiple layouts in one an the same AD?
Any help is appreciated. Sweating

Dirk,

If you mean the BID then all the tabs have a singular class within a CSS file. I am guessing that you mean to have different colours across all the tabs? To my knowledge, with the existing CSS files etc. you can not do that.

Tony,

I mean Active Dashboard, not BID. In the composer you can choose different output formats, like PDF, HTML, etc. One of these formats is AHTML. If you have coordinate report on and bookmarks on, then you get little tabs or bookmarks in the top left of your page. It is these tabs or bookmarks I want to change color.

Hope this is clear Big Grin

Clearer, but as I do not use the "composer" (report painter?) I haven't seen the output. I would guess that it includes some CSS file somewhere but then you've probably already checked that out.

Hi Dirk,

In the HTML Composer (formerly HTML Layout Painter), you can create Active Dashboards. By "coordinating" them, you get 'tabs' for each of the coordinated field values. If you coordinate on "YEAR" you will get a tab for 2008, 2007, 2006, etc.

To my knowledge, you cannot change the tab colors.

Idea: If you don't need the coordinated feature, you CAN add a TAB CONTROL object to the HTML layout, and put your own report inside of each tab, and then each tab color can be configured.

Hi Tony, Denver,

You right I already looked in the possebility of changing a CSS somewere, but to my surprise there is non. If got an email from the helpdesk saying that CSS is not supported yet but is a planned feature.
Denver, I need to use the document composer as I need this to work completly offline (even with drilldowns in it) which it does now.
Many thanks for your ideas and help. Wink

Kind regards,
