Hi,
Company I work for are changing their email domain name. We have lots and lots of reportcaster jobs and distribution lists. Can anyone suggest a way to globally change all of these entries in these lists from @xxxxxx.com to @xxxyyyxxx.com..?

We use WF 7.7.05 and a DB2 database.

Many thanks.

If your ReportCaster is configured to use DB2 db, you should be able to find one db that will contain BOTDEST (destfn) and BOTSCHED (distlist, mailhost, mailfrom, notify_brief, notify_reply, ...) tables.
All these table have a reference to an email domain that may need to be changed using a SQL update.

You also have, from Report Caster Console a Global Updates tool that allows you to change some default configuration value.

BUT in all cases, perform a db backup first

Ditto with MartinY,

Report caster tables have been in a DB for a while now, and should be easy to do a global change via SQL.

Thanks folks. I was thinking very much as you suggest - just wondered if there was something easier I had missed.

Many thanks as always for the help and advice.
