I am using WF 8.1.05. I built a html page that has several charts and some reports. All reports use a date parameter and all but the chart at the top have an optional parameter called agency. I want to be able to click on the agency in the chart at the top of the page and have the rest of the reports on the HTML page automatically filter by that Agency. How can this be done?

Hi Elockett

This can be accomplished when the content is put inside a portal page. The html form that has the submit button has properties under the tasks and animations are to refresh the bi portal and all content on that page will be refreshed with a single click. Click on the image link below to see the panel.

The issue is that I need to click on the chart... example (a pie chart where each slice represents a department) and when I click on a particular slice, the rest of the reports/charts on the page filter to the slice that I've clicked on the chart. So I'm not actually clicking a submit button in this case. I don't know how to specify that the pie chart needs to pass parameters when clicked.

Hi ELockett

In version 8.1 and above when you create a hyperlink for the drill down on the chart there is an option radio button called 'Refresh BI Portal' which will update all the charts on the same portal page and pass the proper parameters.

Just ensure that all the other fexes being executed from the "hyperlink for the drill down on the chart" have the corresponding variables/filters.
