We are in the process of updating to IE11. My alt attribute is not working anymore. I know I need to move to the Title attribute, but I am using the code below. Is there a way to use type=heading and put a title in?

-SET &IMAGE_WEB_REPORT_TITLEC = 'Tip';
TYPE=HEADING,
IMAGE=IBFS:/WFC/Repository/HomeRoom/Hidden_Content/web_reports.png,
POSITION=(2 2),
SIZE=(.2 .2),
ALT='&IMAGE_WEB_REPORT_TITLEC',
FOCEXEC=&IMAGE_WEB_REPORT_FOCEXECC( \
REPORT_TYPE = 'AHTML' \
),
TARGET='_blank',
$

While I very much like to use WebFOCUS StyleSheet commands, sometimes for link building, I've needed to build the link in a DEFINE FILE command, and then add the link (DEFINE field) into the TABLE FILE command.

An example to consider:

-* File caller.fex
APP PREPENDPATH IBISAMP
-SET &MYCAR = 'JAGUAR';
-SET &RANDOM = RDUNIF(D5) * RDUNIF(D5) * 10000;
-*
DEFINE FILE GGSALES
 MY_LINK/A600 = '<a href="http://localhost:8080/ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIF_ex=calledcar' |
                '&' | 'IBIAPP_app=work' |
		'&' | 'MYCAR=' | '&MYCAR' |
		'&' | 'RND=' | '&RANDOM' | '"' |
                ' target="_blank">' |
                '<img src="/approot/work/redcar.png" alt="A Red Car." title="Click here for Jaguar report." />' |
		'</a>';
END
-*
TABLE FILE GGSALES
HEADING
"<MY_LINK"
PRINT SEQ_NO
IF RECORDLIMIT EQ 5
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET PAGE OFF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
 INCLUDE = ENInformationBuilders_Light1, $
 TYPE=HEADING,COLOR='WHITE',BACKCOLOR=RGB(#4F81BD),$
ENDSTYLE
END

-* File calledcar.fex
APP PREPENDPATH IBISAMP
TABLE FILE CAR
"Car Report - &MYCAR"
PRINT COUNTRY
      CAR
	  MODEL
WHERE CAR EQ '&MYCAR';
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET PAGE OFF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
 INCLUDE = ENInformationBuilders_Light1, $
 TYPE=HEADING,COLOR='WHITE',BACKCOLOR=RGB(#4F81BD),$
ENDSTYLE
END

My example is running out of an application called 'work'. If running out of the repository content node, you'd need to make the required amendments.

If WF SS doesn't currently support the title attribute, then that would make a great NFR. :-)

I want to thank you for all of your suggestions. I will look at them when I get a chance. The problem is that I will have to update virtual every report that I have. I have virtually all reports call the same function that puts these images at the top. If IB updates the TYPE=HEADING to use the "Title" tag I would have to make much of a change.

Thanks again for your time.

I figured out a work around. I add the title attribute into the alt attribute.

ALT=&IMAGE_WEB_REPORT_TITLEC " TITLE="&IMAGE_WEB_REPORT_TITLEC "',
