[SOLVED] CNCTUSR returning MICROSOFT prefix on some users
Hi!

We have a single signon environment. We are passing -SET CNCTUSR('A15') through some procedures. In the case at hand, its passing to a SQL stored procedure which is then used to lookup the users email from UOA_USERS to send an email to them. For some users CNCTUSR is returning MICROSOFT\username but on most it is just returning username. Ex. MICROSOFT\rgilbert vs rgilbert. Does anyone know why this would happen on some users but not others?
I appreciate any input.
Thank you, Rosie

I'm not sure why it would do that, I don't see any settings that control the domain name. You might want to consider using &FOCSECUSER or &IBIMR_user instead.

Thank you Chuck. Both of these functions return the same value but I did figure out that it was only users registered on the server access control that were being affected (Admins) for some reason the registration added the MICROSOFT prefix - so I modified the administration text file to remove the prefix from the admin_id and that worked.
