Hi All,

I have a simple sounding problem that has been bugging me for a while. I am new to WF and really hoping some one throw some light. I have access to Infoassist (IA) and IA only. Would really appreciate if the solution can be implemented in IA GUI.

Problem: I have to create a bar chart that shows research spending of 5 (could be more) companies with the last bar of the chart showing combined spending of all companies with label 'All Companies'.

This should be simple (having with Cognos and Tableau experience). I should be able to create a defined column that is the union of the companies and 'all companies' for the measure (spending).

But I find no way to implement it in GUI.

Thank you very much in Advance for your help!

Sandeep,

Our chart engine does not officially support column totals (total bar) with any of our JSCHART charts/visualizations in 8.0.0x or 8.1.0.x releases. Product Management might consider a new feature for future 8.2.x but there is no guarantee as to is implementation. You can get this to unofficially work with ACROSS code but it truly is not supported. Part of the reason is the fact of it not being supported it throws off the scale of the chart (total bar compared to all of the values being totaled).

I could see this somehow working if it was part of the data as possibly another "Company" that contains the totals.

Thank your for participating in the Focal Point Forum,
