I haven't worked on a dashboard before. I have a tab that I made changes to in Dev Studio (I added a couple of options to a multi-select listbox). After I made the changes there I went to the dashboard to try out the changes there, but they weren't there. How do I update the live dashboard? I found the help about exporting dashboard files via the change management utility, but all I got was an xml file with the following:
 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
- <XML>
- <MPV>
  <BLOCK Description="66dc8f9G95d76480e7a92c04bd953f5a9caee13eed0e614ca8566241dc4G5286" Folder="ag_mpv" Name="ag_mpv" dualLogin="no" redirectId="ag_mpv" />
  </MPV>
- <GBV>
  <BLOCK Description="66dc8f9G95d7648059ab171ceefcb4e03c3a7853f5d1f498d169b3beaf17bd52" Folder="ab_gbv" GroupName="uamgroup" GroupTitle="66dc8f9G95d76480efe03f6f5052181668bdd8be30c822fG" Name="ab_gbv" dualLogin="no" redirectId="ab_gbv" />
  </GBV>
  <GBVLO />
  <MUV />
- <DBT>
  <BLOCK Folder="worp2" Name="worp2" />
  <BLOCK Folder="worp1" Name="worp1" />
  <BLOCK Folder="worp0" Name="worp0" />
  <BLOCK Folder="worp7" Name="worp7" />
  <BLOCK Folder="worp6" Name="worp6" />
  <BLOCK Folder="worp5" Name="worp5" />
  <BLOCK Folder="worp4" Name="worp4" />
  <BLOCK Folder="worp3" Name="worp3" />
  </DBT>
  <DBTBX />
  <MISC />
  </XML>

Open up Viewbuilder, select Manage Users, Select all the Users who have that view(check yourself only to test your changes), select Refresh, Log out, back in and test...

Cumbersome, Bad Design, imo...

Did you try the "Reassign" button and "Replace User Content With View Content" option from the "Manage Users" section on "View Builder"?

I tried to follow your instructions, but I'm running into a problem. How do I do this if there are no users with that group view?

Theresa,
If you make changes to a report (multi-select listbox) you will need to login to the Dashboard Viewbuilder / Select the Dashboard View you want this report to show up in / Click on Edit Content / Edit Block / Add the report in a content block.
Once you make these changes you should see the updated report.
If you still experience problems feel free to contact Customer Support and we can assist you.
