Hi,

Iam using the below code (CAR file) and Iam trying to get the border color in black for the entire report including the heading, report, title and for the data.

I tried using BORDER-COLOR=BLACK too but nothing seems to be working.

Could anyone please let me know how to get the border in black.

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

Regards,
IP

Turn GRID=OFF at REPORT level and insert the following somewhere before the TABLE FILE.

Here's what I came up with based on Tony's suggestion:

DEFINE FILE CAR
FIRST_HEAD1/A20='subhead1';

You don't even need to go that far. Just add the code I gave to the original (with the minor change that I mentioned Smiler)

-HTMLFORM BEGIN
<style>
  table {border: solid black 3px;}
</style>
-HTMLFORM END

DEFINE FILE CAR

A/A3='';
THIRD_HEAD3/A60='Target';
HEAD1/A15='>10%';
HEAD2/A15='>20%';
HEAD3/A15='>30%';
END

ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS OFF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT,SQUEEZE=ON,FONT='ARIAL',SIZE=9,GRID=OFF,BORDER=1.5,TITLETEXT='Car report',$

I tried that and got this error:

(FOC757) WARNING. YOU REQUESTED PRINT * OR COUNT * FOR A MULTIPATH FILE

So that's why I changed/rearranged things a bit.

Running the code provided does not seem to show the extra lines you mention.

This was run in WebFOCUS 8105M IE 11.

Post your image and the browser you are using, if you still have the issue.
