When I use dev studio there are many tscom3 process started (one for each run of my report) which remain in the task list and use up the ram. Is there a setting to auto kill these when they are inactive?

Thanks,

Vipul

well, sure, if you have access to your server.
if so, you go to your server console: http://servername:8121/cgiatt.exe
click on workspace/monitor/agents
and then you can click on the tscomid column and
one of the options will be kill agent.
and just do it.
If you're running locally not on the server, i can't help, but someone will.

Also remember that even when an agent is idle its using memory. There are settings on the server console for number of agents to prestart , maximum number of agents, and queuing. You might want to look at these and change the settings if you're low on memory.
