Hey all!

I've been running into a wall with not being able to find a way to target an external procedure when setting up parameter settings for an HTML dropdown list control. I have some filter code in a stand-alone .fex I want the dropdown list to populate and utilize. For some reason AppStudio doesn't have the radio button under Dynamic settings to choose from an external procedure. Does anyone know how I can do this in AppStudio? I can in DevStudio, but can't seem to find the option in AppStudio.

Please and thank you!

Easiest (for me) is to set up the external procedure in the Tasks Panel. Then from the control/settings, select Dynamic and Explicit(Tasks Panel) and then select the request and populate the rest as required.

Thanks Alan! Appreciate the tip!

I just spent some more time with it and found that (for me) to do it in AppStudio you have to create a request within the Requests & Data sources Panel, then go into the settings for the control and like you said choose Explicit(Requests panel) selecting the external procedure request from there. It's amazing how much getting some sleep and trying again another day helps out. Just got into work this morning. Thanks!!
