Hi,

I have 28 columns in my report. In HTML it is showing properly, but in PDF and Powerpoint, I see one column in one page and other column in second page and so on....

Please let me know if anyone knows the solution to this....

I tried this code but still it does not work..

TYPE=REPORT, SIZE=28, SQUEEZE=ON,ORIENTATION=LANDSCAPE,$

Thank you,
Priya.

Hi Prarie,

Thank you,
Priya

You will have to play with the columns. You have to look at the size of each field and the titles you are using, sometime they can be stacked instead of a wide title. If you will do a search on the Forum there are lot's of things to try and help when your report is too wide for PDF.

For PDF, just up the page size to something bigger. Check out PAGESIZE, then you can adjust the font to make it look ok.

Hi Waz,

I changed the screen size to 5000 px in the Options (format tab). Is there any other place where we can include pagesize? Please let me know.

Thank you,
Priya.

It is, currently, very wet in the UK so I am feeling the need for a lift.

Please do not take this as a sleight, more of a mid-week funny Smiler

Try this link

BTW, the results in the link above are probably irrelevant Frowner

Try the below one:

ON TABLE SET STYLE *
     UNITS=IN,
     PAGESIZE='Letter',
     LEFTMARGIN=0.652778,
     RIGHTMARGIN=0.652778,
     TOPMARGIN=0.500000,
     BOTTOMMARGIN=0.500000,
     SQUEEZE=ON,
     ORIENTATION=LANDSCAPE,
$
TYPE=REPORT,
     ALIGN-BORDERS=BODY,
     GRID=OFF,
     FONT='ARIAL',
     SIZE=8,
     RIGHTGAP=0.055556,
     LEFTGAP=0.055556,
     TOPGAP=0.013889,
     BOTTOMGAP=0.013889,
$
TYPE=DATA,
     GRID=ON,
     TOPGAP=0.013889,
     BOTTOMGAP=0.013889,
$

if u comment the line SQUEEZE=ON, then u'll find big diff then....so SQUEEZE=ON is needed..
Also try to work around with the columns as Prarie mentioned earlier.
