InfoAssist comes out with each release of WebFOCUS.

The current release is WebFOCUS 7.7.03.
WebFOCUS 8 is coming out at the end of December.

You can see a recording of my last webcast on InfoAssist at:
http://www.informationbuilders...inars/developers/517

To give a quick overview of what is new:
Advanced Graph Assistant, Graph Assistant, Power Painter, & Report Assistant are not in WF 8.
Instead their features have been added to InfoAssist in a much more intuitive manner. Basically right click on the object you want to style and you get a dialog with the chart properties instead of the long property sheets. Note: There are a small set of features not yet included in InfoAssist, that will be addressed in a future service pack.

HTML5 based charts can now be created.
Sizing of individual charts and AutoFit of charts into calling containers in the new BI Portal.
Full styling of Active Reports

Not new in 8, but new in 7702 are:
InfoMini
Slicers
Active Technology Dashboards

To get more details on any of this, watch the above mentioned webcast where you can see it all live.
