How do you add a new report parameter to an existing HTML Composer form? I'd like to add a new parameter and then assign a new control to it.

Just add the new parameter to your fex, and then allocate the fex again to your form. in my forms i have must of the the times a start button. after adding the fex, the composer gives you a list with the parameters of the fex and asked you what kind of control do you like.

Christian, thank you, I keep forgetting that is the only way. I decided to edit the file and duplicate the lines of code that define the parameters.

In my opinion, this method of allocating the fex again seems monstrous - there should be a more reasonable way.

I appreciate your response.

Francis

Francis,

There is a more reasonable way as well. Take a look at Adding a New Unbound Parameter

iSM 6.0
iDM 7.6.5 - 7702
WF 7.6.4 - 7702

All output formats
