Does anyone know what the maximum rows and characters that are allowed on chained dynamic list boxes?

If not, how can I find this limit in the java code?

Thanks,
Bob

Just wondering....

If you're asking what the limit is...

What is the largest dynamic chained dropdown box that you have working?

WebFocus 7x, 8x, Win / Linux, any output format

sdsdw and jnc, I'm sure sone one else will ask, so would you update your profile to the version of WebFOCUS you are using. Level often determines limits. I don't know as I've ever come across the limits, each release seems to change things.

This has been a HUGE problem for us. The controls will start to populate, but then instead of populating in the drop down boxes, the values are all displayed in a seperate HTML screen.

The only way to correct the problem is to rebuild the master files adjusting the field size(which of course is only a temporary solution).

Anyone else with thoughts on this ? I would hate to have to continually change my master file every time the data gets too big.
