We have scoured much of the WebFocus documentation looking for a way to redirect the user to a custom error page if there is ANY WebFocus error generated such as "Focexec not found" or "WebFocus was called with an invalid request". I thought that there was a global setting somewhere to change the default error page and also a way to invoke or redirect the user to that page. Is there?

Hi dojo,

From our technicals: There is no global setting to control this and it would depend on what component you are using. A quick search on tech support turns up plenty of ideas on customizing the messages, which may be of interest to you.

How to customize error messages in WebFOCUS 76?

TECHNIQUE: How to customize the "No HTML Output" page

TECHNIQUE: Customizing ReportCaster error messages

Customizing WebFOCUS Error Messages

Cheers,

Kerry
