Hi,

We upgraded from WebFOCUS 7.6.4 to 7.6.10
We see 2 Issues in WebFOCUS admin console page.

WebFOCUS Server Info does not reflect the new version in webfocus admin console page. It still shows 7.6.4.
In Server webconsole the version is updated to 7.6.10

Other issue is the redirection setting in admin console page. It throws 404 error - "wfconsolemimipage.jsp is missing".
But the jsp file is present in the folder.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mathavi.

For installation issues, your best best is to open a case with IBI.

We had issues too upgrading to 7.6.10. It turned out that the first issue was the deployment of the war file which was resolved by opening a case with IBI. We had other issues as well and in the end after many hours of streaming sessions with IBI, we eventually had to do a complete re-install and reconfigure our setup and copy over our reports and we moved to 7.6.11. The upgrade path just didn't work for us, we had to do a complete re-install. We also had issues with the console recognizing some of their new .jsp files.

They even had a copy of our entire environment to trouble shoot why the upgrade didn't work for us and so far they can't figure out what happened with us.

So your best bet as Ginny said is to open a case with IBI.

Shantie.

I do agree with Shantie and Ginny, but you could also check the war file in the application server, I assume to be Tomcat. You could verify its is the 7.6.10 version, and you could also reload it, to be sure.

Thanks for sharing.
We are opening a case with IBI on this issue.

Shantie,
Can you please tell which war file you are referring ?

Thanks,
Mathavi.

That would be the WebFOCUS war file.
