We use to edit the HTML files by going to the WebFocus BI Portal and click Edit on the file. I am not seeing that options now.

Is that because of the security constraint? OR After 8105, they removed that option.

Anyone faced this issue. How did you resolve it?

Try unpublishing your portal. Make your edits, then publish it.

If the file has been migration from WebFOCUS 7.7. to 8x and has retained the same filename and NOT opened in the GUI, then they will have an internal repository marker that shows them as WF 7x compatible. There's an internal compatibility layer that translates the old app/filename syntax to the new IBFS:/xxxx syntax automatically.

Once a file has been loaded into the HTML Composer, App Studio, or one of the other GUI tools and saved, then it becomes WF 8x compliant and it must be converted to WF8 syntax. (no more app/filename syntax).

There is nothing to show you what the internal marker is. However, once an HTML has been opened in App Studio, you will no longer see the EDIT option in the portal for that HTML file.
