Hi,

I'll be using Open Portal Services to bring the WebFOCUS portlets into WebLogic portal. I understood from the Open Portal Services document that it supports single sign-on. It is mentioned that:
"After receiving the user's Id from the portal product via a secure channel, Open Portal Services initiates a trusted Managed Reporting signon on behalf of the user to avoid the subsequent Managed Reporting logon prompt."

Is it implicit or are there some configuration settings?

Cheers,
Mohan

Hi all,

FYI, I check with our product management regarding this question and here is what I received:

Depends on which implementation of Open Portal Services. If using WebLogic API, then there is no configuration steps needed. If using JSR168 approach, then there is a configuration step of matching the Trusted key value from the portlet preference to cgivars.wfs file in WebFOCUS.

Cheers, Big Grin

Kerry
