is like playing tag....
an electronic version of tag...
"Does [this person from your contact list from a hundred years ago] know about [some gibberish acryonym extracted from their profile] ? "
the funnier, the better...

Yes, it it.

But do you endorse all for everything ?

Or do you keep it as true as possible.

I have no idea of what some of the abilities are. They are as yout say gibberish.

well, neither. its like some sort of video poker game...4 show up at a time...and you don't know who its going to be or what the 'ability' is going to be...so sometimes its just flat out funny... that gets my vote! or you get an email that someone you haven't heard from in ages has endorsed you, but it doesn't say what for, so you have to log on to find out...and tag them back... and then the silliness begins...

I agree. I takes all the meaning out of endorsements. It's really too bad because it cheapens the connections you have. You can't tell anything about a person based on them. What good is it when your barber says you know something about data visualization? I wish there was a way to turn them off.

I've just started a test. I've added a new skill that has nothing to do with work.

I'm interested to see if I get any endorsements.....

Susannah, I think this would be more like a slot machine than video poker

...Video poker is one of the games in a casino that actually can have player advantage odds in regards to law of large numbers. Wink Just being technical here. I tried to look you up on LinkedIn so I can spend all day endorsing you instead of focusing on my projects.

I want an endorsement for "Endorsing"... lol

Well I guess I am at a loss when I ran into you and Tony A in the elevator at Conference this last June!

I always think of "Steve Wozniak" when I see WAZ on the forums... lol...Wouldn't that be a hoot!
