Is there a way to set a default height and width to the new Multi-Selectable Drop Down Lists (DDL)? I know that once they open, with a width of whatever is set as 'width' and the height shows about six lines, they can be resized by dragging the lower-left corner to whatever you want. But, here's the deal I want:

1) I only have 275 available for the width of the DDL but the data within it could be as much as 400 wide. My request is that the user not be burdened with the resizing of the displayable selections.

2) I'm hoping for better multi-select functionality in the future: display all items with check boxes without it opening in a separate window which requires the user to close it after selections are made. OK, call me picky... But that's what I see in the future and may see it as a NFR Smiler.

Doug

Not sure if this will help and I don't have a working example but I have seen where you can create panels that that can open and hide to display drop down list and not take up the actual real estate of the the htmlform. Then you could make these DDL as big a necessary. I will look for an example to give you if this sounds feasible.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Thanks Chuck,

I'll live with the fact that once the DDL is opened it is, in fact, resizable by the user. I'll close this now.
