I'm trying to add a year-to-date average column to a report. So, the average needs to be cumulative with each successive month. Does anyone know how this can be acheived?

The Hold files LTD1 and 2 contains identical lists of months and monthly measures (so that we can report the month's figures and the YTD average). LTD1 supplies the time-axis points in the graph, and the join to LTD2 allows the report to sum, count and average the measure over the respecive series of months to date for each respective axis point. (In principle, you could join LTD2 to itself)

If the measure may be missing for some months, rather than using AVE. you should compute the running average explicitly, as in the commented lines.

Thanks. I think I'm on my way to figuring it out. I had actually looked at that thread before, only I didn't realize I had to use Compute for the Last function to work. I'll try it again.
