Ah, this is a case where you need to fire up the grey matter.


e.g.

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RETAIL_COST NOPRINT
COMPUTE RETAIL_COST/D7S = 0 ;
BY CAR
BY MODEL
ON CAR SUBFOOT
"Total: <ST.RETAIL_COST "
END

If you need the total to align up with the column, then have a look in the documentation for HEADALIGN for HTML or EXCEL, and POSITION for PDF.
