I'm trying to limit the amount of space an agent can use in the edatemp directory and see some settings but when I try to set them, I must be doing something wrong...If I simply want to limit any single folder in the edatemp directory to less than 1 gig of space before the report is killed off, then what would be the best way to do so?
Thanks in advance - I'm not apparently as young as I used to be because I'm not understanding from the documentation how to do this. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

There are settings in the server console for CPU limit and memory limit, but I don't think there is a WF server setting for disk space limit. This would probably be something that would be managed by the OS. If you can included your environment description in your profile, someone may have a better idea. Your best bet, however, may just be to limit memory as opposed to restricting disk space available to the server agents. No telling what kind of errors and/or abends you might get.

Thanks - I just put a 500 meg limit on memory - We'll see if that does the trick - had some people kicking of queries that generated 4 gig hold files...Not a great thing for the server.

Another way you can restrict disk space usage is to reduce the max agent number.
