Hi, i am trying to add borders to data in a report. this works fine when i am not using active html (ahtml). the moment i include AHTML the borders just goes off. try the below code
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
COUNTRY
CAR
MODEL
SALES
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
-*ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT AHTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
UNITS=IN,
PAGESIZE='SCREEN',
LEFTMARGIN=0.000000,
RIGHTMARGIN=0.000000,
TOPMARGIN=0.000000,
BOTTOMMARGIN=0.000000,
SQUEEZE=ON,
GRID=OFF,
ORIENTATION=PORTRAIT,
$
TYPE=REPORT,
FONT='ARIAL',
SIZE=9,
$
TYPE=TITLE,
STYLE=BOLD,
$
TYPE=DATA,
COLUMN=N1,
BORDER=LIGHT,
BORDER-STYLE=RIDGE,
BORDER-COLOR=RGB(51 51 153),
SIZE=8,
COLOR='BLACK',
$
ENDSTYLE
END
the above code works fine. remove the comment and the border around country goes off.
Anyone knows what can be done for this.
Regards
Adesh

Adesh,
Because of all the styling and javascript that goes into an Active Report your styling gets overruled because of the order for which styles are applied.
To get around this, add the following to your code for AHTML ouput and modify as needed.

DEFINE FILE CAR
  CNTRY_DIV/A100V='<DIV STYLE="border:RGB(51 51 153) ridge 1px">' | COUNTRY | '</DIV>';
END
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
CNTRY_DIV AS 'Country'

I hope this helps.
Greg
