Hi folks,

I have a WebFOCUS MRE MFD currently encrypted using a DBA password. The encrypted MFD can be access by other MRE users only via the user id specified by the syntax "SET USER=ABCD" imbedded in the MFD itself. This seems to be working when you create a Standard report by coding (i.e. not through the GUI). However, I have other users complaining that they cannot create a My Report through the GUI using the reporting object reading the encrypted MFD. I have tried to include the "SET USER=ABCD" line in the "Other" section of the reporting object, but it doesn't seem to work either.

We are currently using WebFOCUS 5.3.2

Any clues to make it work with reporting objects inside MRE?

Thanks.

Steven

Why is the user password set up?
If everybody should be allowed to use the data than remove the password setting.
