I've recently taken over a role of WebFOCUS admin and am still learning the security model. When I log onto the report server console in one of our environments I'm unable to see the oracle adapters. However, I know they exist. How is access to the adapters configured in the report server console?

Hi dberkh,

I am following up with you regarding your security and Reporting Server question.

I apologize for my delayed response. I'd like to welcome you to FOCAL POINT.

The following is the link to the WebFOCUS Security documentation. Since your profile does not say what version I am providing the link to the Technical Content Library where you can select the version of your choice. .

Technical Content Library

Select your version

On the left panel you will find all the documentation for WebFOCUS

- Security and Administration
- WebFOCUS Reporting Server

You may need to log on to the Information Builders Technical Support Center site to access these links.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

Kindest regards,

Dave, This is a good security document if you don't already have it.
