Hi all,

I've looked everywhere and can't find a way to make NULL values in a field '0'. There's no SQL function.

Anyway to simply make null values '0'.

Thank you in advance.

I may not properly understand your need, but in SQL you can do :

COALESCE(OldField, 0)
or
ISNULL(OldField, 0)

And in FOCUS within a DEFINE it can be:

NewField /I5 = IF OldField EQ MISSING THEN 0 ELSE OldField;

But none may work with Datamigrator...

You can use a define in the master file as MartinY has shown then use the DEFINED field in the data flow instead of the real field.

Thank you for using Focal Point!
