I have attached the screenshot of the report here

Notification history report

The report is about the notifications sent to the employees.

I have two concerns with the report.

1. In the report, the employee named Johnnisha Willis has a message which is too long and cannot be accommodated in a single row.
Is there any possibility that the height of the row can be increased ?

2. The background color for the report is set as alternate colors for the consecutive rows in the style sheet. The report needs to have the background color in such a way the alternate colors should change when the employee name changes.

I have an idea of using LAST but unsure of how to use it in the code. For instance in the report The back color for JOHNNISHA WILLIS is both white and grey according to the style sheet. I want the color not to change unless the employee name changes

Nithita - You can achieve your requirements by using conditional styling.

What is the output format for your reports? Need some more inputs for the point 2. Is that your report is static(meaning your report is having fixed number of rows?)


Try to play around.

You would, of course, have to play with the values to get what you need.

Very basic -

You mention using code so here it is in code. However, if you need it via InfoAssist then add a compute in the normal manner and use conditional styling.
