I found an example of adding WF users to a WF group using REST metadata in http://forums.informationbuild...1057331/m/6537005786. Does anyone have examples of the ACX, MAS and FEX files for adding the WF user itself?

You do not state what version of WebFOCUS you are using. So assuming WF8.2.01, look at the documentation for RestFUL web services API.

Tony, thanks for the response. Sorry, I thought I had updated my signature information in my profile before I submitted my post. We are on 8.1.05M.

I have the documentation you mentioned for the version we are on, but I don't see anything about how to generate the synonyms, etc. to utilize it in WebFOCUS. I tried using the information in the document to populate the fields to create the synonym for REST Services, but I suspect that I don't have something quite right.

dcchurch I don't find any documentation on creating the metadata either. There is a test page you can use. http://server:port/ibi_apps/rs?IBIRS_action=TEST . I would suggest opening a case with techsupport to see if they can provide how to create the metadata.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Chuck, I saw that, but I didn't see anything on that page that had to do with adding or updating users. I have opened a case, so we'll see where that leads. Thanks!

David
