I'm in the process of migrating reports from WF 7 to WF 8. In WF 8, I'm having an issue with a report prompting for a parameter when it shouldn't. The report works in WF 7 as expected. WF 8 appears to be treating the EVAL command differently then WF 7. See example below.

The statements below runs in WF 7 without any prompting. However if I run this in WF 8, I get a prompt for &FY. What changes do I need to make so that WF 8 runs these statements without prompting for the &FY parameter?

-SET &ECHO = 'ALL';
-SET &FY1 = '2015';
-SET &FYSEQ = 1;
-SET &FYONE = &FY&FYSEQ.EVAL

In this case you can use indexing.

-SET &FYONE = &FY.&FYSEQ ;

It is also possible that the AutoPrompting settings are difference between your existing and new installs.

These are accessed via the admin console.
