We are attempting to upgrade a 5.2.2 version to 5.2.4. Our desktops had dev studio/power reporter upgraded to 5.2.4 last week and now I want to upgrade the (2) WF Servers. Our server environment is comprised of a dev and prod server each running IIS 5.0 / Windows 2000. The WF Client, WF Reporting Server and Report Caster all reside on each machine. Has anyone applied the 5.2.3 patch and then the 5.2.4 patch to get to this release? I no longer have the 5.2.3 patch (long story) and don't seem to be able to get it from IBI. I am now being told that to go to 5.2.3, I need to do a full install of 5.2.3. Although, the documentation I have clearly states that you can just apply the 5.2.3 patch and then the 5.2.4 patch. I would like to avoid a new install due to our extensive customization. Can anyone shed light on this?

This link provides the information you'll need to do the appropriate upgrade, whether full install or service pack. Hopefully this will help:

billg, we have what sounds like an identical environment. i went from 522 to 524 directly.
and downloaded everything (both parts, server and client)from the ibi site.
(we just upped to 525, and it went very smoothly.)
I don't recall any need to have 5.2.3 intervene.
I just loaded (for part 1)webfocus524.exe and
then for the server (part2)there were 5 files in the downloaded set:
inswnt.html
inu.exe
iserver.zip
iserver524_11_01.exe
s_gen_num_R720524B_11_01.txt
version.cfg

ARe you saying IBI no longer has those files?
Can you go right to 525?
