Hi Satya,

Use the FILEDEF function to get it resolved and below is the sample code
 FILEDEF DATFILE DISK /ETL/app/ibadmin/ibi/WebFOCUS77/basedir/mredomaname(accounts)/app/MAYSPLES.DAT
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT CAR MODEL SEATS
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE HOLD AS DATFILE FORMAT VISDIS
END

Hello Satya,

Firstly, are you using WebFocus/DevStudio 7.x or WebFocus/AppStudio 8.x?

If you are using AppStudio and WebFocus 8.x, then you should know that MRE (from 7.x) is now Content (in 8.x), and everything under Content is actually stored in a database repository and not a file structure (even though it has one in your dev environment). I've never personally came across a scenario where I wanted to create either a hold file or other type of output that stores such under Content yet. Maybe there will be a case scenario soon enough. Whenever I needed to store an HTML document under Content, I've either created it there, or copied it into whichever folder therein using copy and paste from the Reporting Server (Data Servers) or my own machine.

By the looks of your code, you are telling WebFocus to store it in the baseapp folder under Data Servers (Reporting Server). So, if you really want it in "MRE" then that particular line needs to go at least. I haven't seen any commands that are specific to the MRE/Content side as of yet. If I find any, I will let you know.

Good luck!

8.2.02M (production), 8.2.02M (test), Windows 10, all outputs.
