I need to have a report in managed reporting that has parameters passed by users selecting from a dynamic drop down list. The drop down list will be populated from a column in the databse.

I can't seem to get this to work although i would think it is very simple.

Step 3: Create the html launch page.

- Right click button and select Button Properties/Create hyper link
- Change Action to Run Report
- Click elipses (...) and select the report from steps 1 and 2.
- click ok (a drop down box should now be on the page for your parm)
- click drop down box to activate
- Ensure that Control Values is Dynamic (bottom right under Parameter Window)
- verify that table and value and display fields are correct
- save and exit
Step 4: run the report with same name as html page.

Hope this helps.
