Hi,

I have a requirement where i need to implement some kind of filtering to the data based on the user who logins...

Example: if user TOM logins, then he should see only data belonging to his department...

Is there any process/logic on how we can acheive this..

There is a way to do this, but it depends on your database.
If you have for the special database a user table I would suggest to use that, else you may create one.
At login the loginID gives you the selected records.
You also might want to use the restrictions you can put in the masters.

Search in that case for the command "SET PASS =".
