In Data Migrator I am developing dataflows and process flows. I want to write some custom made messages to the log. I can use edit as text and add TYPE-commands at the appropriate places in the text. However after saving this change and editing the data flow using the GUI I loose all changes I made in text mode. As a result all my custom logging is gone.

Does anybody know how I can write custom messages to a log without having to redo the code all the time?

I am quite new at DM and I am trying to learn, so I hope someone will come up with an answer.

From the browser select an application directory and New, Procedure. Add your -TYPE statements here. Save the procedure.

Then on the Process Flow tab drag the procedure and connect it before or after the Data Flow as desired.
