Has anyone used the WebFocus Enable Adobe Flex Compute. function? I'm able to compute a new column in my datagrid but when I reload the datagrid later on the Compute no long works. The syntax I'm using is:

Compute.newATP(DEPT_FARE,DEPT_TICKETS) AS NEWFLD1

And this works fine the first time, but when I force a reload I see 2 columns in the grid:

1. Compute.newATP(DEPT_FARE

2. DEPT_TICKETS) AS NEWFLD1

It is like it doesn't now what it is and splits the field apart at the comma.

thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

The following online document may be of help:
How to use 'Compute.' prefix with IBIUseColumns property
You will need to have an InfoResponse ID/password in order to access the document.

Cheers,

Kerry

Kerry,

I have seen that document. I used it to get me started with the 'Compute.'. The problem is when the datagrid reloads the compute doesn't work. I opened a case with IBI on it.

thanks,
Bob
