As you have not shown the code that generates the excel
or given any details of what the template is supposed to do
it's not really possible to give you any suggestions.

However If you want an image in a template then the image
must already exist in the template.
Alternativly you need to create your final template using
the methods described for creating compound excels with templates.

Hi JG,
We are using Excel Template
FILEDEF tempmht DISK tempmht.mht
-RUN
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT CAR MODEL
ON TABLE HOLD AS tempmht FORMAT EXL2K TEMPLATE TEST SHEETNUMBER 1
END
-RUN
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
DEALER_COST
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K TEMPLATE tempmht SHEETNUMBER 2
END
-RUN

In first sheet data should be displayed and in second sheet data and bar graph should be displayed.

If you have any documentation regarding graph using excel template please lsit the url.

Thanks
Shakila

Hi Shakila25,

You need to indicate what type of graph you want.

Hi Shakila,

Suggestion from our graph technicals: There are several issues that could be at play, if you are using compound report the layout tool wont put the graph on the same tab as the report in excel (there is a NFR for it).
This link has the workaround code http://techsupport.information...om/sps/61582008.html

Also you must use HOLD and not PCHOLD. If you would like us to look into it further, please open a case with Information Builders' Customer Support Services, and send the code. You may either call at 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.

Cheers,

Kerry
