it is all here in the forum if you do a search
but the best suggestion is to spend 25 U$ on the famous book "almost 1001...."

Sanjeev,

There are several solutions possible; one of them see below:

SET PAGE = NOPAGE
SET DEFCENT=19, YRTHRESH=99

DEFINE FILE CAR
  DATE1A/YM WITH COUNTRY = 1001;
  DATE2A/YM WITH COUNTRY = 1101;

  DATE1B/A25 = DATETRAN(DATE1A, '(MYY)', '(tr)', 'EN', 25, 'A25') ;
  DATE2B/A25 = DATETRAN(DATE2A, '(MYY)', '(tr)', 'EN', 25, 'A25') ;
END

TABLE FILE CAR
  PRINT
    DATE1A AS ''
    DATE2A AS ''
  OVER
   DATE1B AS ''
   DATE2B AS ''
  IF RECORDLIMIT EQ 1
END
