Hi,

When I try to change usergroups for an user in the Managed Reporting Administration I get an error (WebFocus API Error: 1016; contact administrator) when I hit the save-button.

Who knows how to deal with this?

Kind regards,

Martin

I trolled through a few Tech Support cases and while there are different reasons for the error, this one pops up more often:

Something to do with User ID case.

This is one suggestion:

quote:
Perform the following steps to resolve this issue:

1. Log on to WebFOCUS Admin Console

2. Navigate to:
- Configuration
- MR Security
- Advanced
3. Change USERID.CASE from lower to default.
4. Recycle your web and apps server.

Hi there,

Thanks for the suggestion. I did not used it, because I'm not sure what will happen to other things, when I change it. I managed the issue by editting groups instead of people. So I got the result I was looking for.

kind regards,

Martin Witjens
