Happy New Year to you all:
Just started with WF 8.. Have installed it on a Local Server. in the App Studio, under the Environment Tree, Do not see files associated with Folders.
Created another App Folder and created a Test Fex.. DO not see it listed under the App Folder..
On the Environment Tree, Show all files icon is clicked..

Anyone has experienced this issue or I am missing something..

Thanks

Is it your local app folder. If so, are you able to see in your local physical path like C:/ibi/apps//

Thanks,
Ram

Ensure you have the right security privileges to create and write to app folders on the Data Servers node.

Try using admin user login. Also you can get more details from Windows Event Viewer log.

Thanks,
Ram

I faced these kind of issues, when I installed new Developer Studio. Sometimes,Tomcat or local Reporting server won't start.

Go to path of environmental variable settings, check your Java settings.
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_40\jre\bin\server;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_40\bin

Also, your Tomcat-->Java tab.
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_40\jre\bin\server\jvm.dll
