I found this WHERE clause in e fex :
WHERE NOT (FIELDA EQ 'A' OR FIELDDB EQ 'Z');
Is it a valid clause ?
I don't find this in any documentation
WebFocus thru Dev Studio version 7.6.11
Dev Studio on Windows Xp, Webfocus Client on UNIX basing on TOMCAT and DB2,
Reporting Server on MVS , USS and on UNIX
TABLE FILE CAR
-*WHERE NOT (FIELDA EQ 'A' OR FIELDDB EQ 'Z');
WHERE NOT (COUNTRY EQ 'ENGLAND' OR COUNTRY EQ 'JAPAN');
WF 8 version 8.2.04. Windows.
In focus since 1990.
Sometimes negative logic works. In this case if it bothers you, I think
WHERE (FIELDA NE 'A') AND (FIELLB NE 'Z');
Would do the same, correct me if I'm wrong guys and gals.
