I was looking at this post Where's the off-switch for WF's "think-along" button? and discovered a new wonderful SET command.
I always include a report settings fex in my reports that contains the list of SET commands. That is how I was taught.
Does anyone have suggestions for additional SET commands or use a more expansive list. SET FIELDNAME = NOTRUNC is now added to the list.

SET ASNAMES = ON
SET HOLDLIST = PRINTONLY
SET PRINTPLUS = ON
SET LINES = 999999
SET PAGE = NOLEAD
SET NODATA = ' '
SET EMPTYREPORT = ON
SET FIELDNAME = NOTRUNC

We do something similar but within the EDASPROF.prf. an additional SET we utilize, since all of our reporting tables are fully documented with respect to description, titles, etc IS "HOLDATTR = ON" . Almost entirely eliminates having to put titles / utilizing ASNAMES when the need to "HOLD" the data then report off of the HOLD file. HOLDATTR brings along the titles from the first pass of the data which in turn keeps output titles consistent among the development team.

We also have in our edasprof:
SET WEEKFIRST=ISO
SET HOLDATTR = ON

To have consistent week numbering (adjust to how those are handled in your locale) and to propagate our painfully manually added column title descriptions to our reports column titles automatically.
