I'm having a problem with hiding parameters when I run a focexec and download to Excel.
I'm executing the focexec from an ASP page.
[CODE]  response.redirect Ex=MyFocexec¶m1="something"¶m2="something"

If you run:

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT *
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
END

[CODE] A browser window opens first followed by the Excel spreasheet in Excel. The browser window doesn't automatcally close. If the URL has parameters in it a smart end-user can change the parameters and run another report. Is there a way to have that browser window close after Excel opens? Or is there a way to hide the parameters?

I'm running version 7.6.2

Using a FORM in an HTML page with a method of POST and hidden fields for IBIF_ex and other parameters, and a piece of js to Submit the form with a window.onload=function; statement.
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE></TITLE>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="0">
<script LANGUAGE="JavaScript"><!--
function runForm() {
document.all.submitForm.submit();
}
window.onload=runForm;

// --></script>
</HEAD>
<body>

<form action="http://whatever/WFServlet" method="POST" Name="submitForm">
 <input type=hidden name="IBIF_ex" value="focexec">
 <input type=hidden name="parm1" value="a value">
</form>
</BODY></HTML>
