Hi all,

I need to implement cascading prompt in one my report. the scenario is i have
two list boxes in a procedure.

listbox named lb1 has values fetched from the table A applying a filter
condition.

listbox named lb2 has values fetched from the same table A applying a diiferent
filter condition.

my requirement is to make the lb2 display the values dynamically based on the values user select in lb1.

please provide me a solution to implement this.

Thanks,
kummy

This issue is all explaned during one of the labs on Summit 2007.
"Building complex parameterized Reports in HTML Layout Painter"
An interesting and very good course by "Cia Kessler"
I thing it must be possible to get both the hand-outs and the fex examples.
It's a bit to mutch to type here all teh coding.

The main thing is that you can link the two listboxes in the painter.

Select the first listbox, hold down the shift key, click the next listbox and then click on the "Add to Chain" button somewhere on top of the screen.
