Is there any way to pass parameter values to -include fex file?

I am generating nodata fex file but I want comments to be dynamic.

Thanks,
SG.

All & and && variables from the main fex are available in the included fex.

Francis,

In that case what's wrong with the following code:

-SET &COMMENTCODE = '2'; -* I am setting this value in main fex value

-* the below code from include file.
-SET &COMMENTSTR = IF '&COMMENTCODE' EQ '1' THEN 'No POs Available'
ELSE IF '&COMMENTCODE' EQ '2' THEN 'No Alerts Available'
ELSE IF '&COMMENTCODE' EQ '3' THEN 'No Graph Data' ;

Thanks,
SG.

SG,

You must use a dash to continue a Dialogue Manager command on multiple lines. As well, you do not require the quotes around the Dialogue Manager variables. Try the code below:

-SET &COMMENTSTR = IF &COMMENTCODE EQ '1' THEN 'No POs Available'
- ELSE IF &COMMENTCODE EQ '2' THEN 'No Alerts Available'
-  ELSE IF &COMMENTCODE EQ '3' THEN 'No Graph Data' ;
