Hi,

I have an application in DEV environment and it has a Webfocus Bubble Map in there.
It used to work without any issues and today after couple of months when i tried to run it,i get the below message.
Please check your connection to and from Mapping services or check the path to the extension as it may not be valid

I checked the synonym and it is valid.Checked the data from the hold file which is used to render map and even that works.

From the message it seems like ESRI is down or the link is down.Never encountered such an issue.

Let me try to get a sample code.

I tried to create an ESRI Bubble map and when i drag and drop ZIP_CODE ,i get the the same message in the little preview.

Any insights.

Hi Chuck,

The link you provided is now working.
It says

The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Will be helpful if you can copy and paste it here ,if you can see the page.

Here are the contents of that post.

Support,

I am getting the message below for sparkline kpi charts during the development of the chart.
Message: "Please check your connection to and from Mapping services or check the path to the extension as it may not be valid"
Is there any configuration that fix this problem?
This problem is only occurring in live preview, during the execution is normally, see the image.

Thanks,
Moises

Hello Moises,

I have heard of this behavior from another IBI'er who was using the sparklines extension before upgrading that has this same issue. I will continue looking into this behavior for you. Sparklines are not present on the official webfocus extensions repository currently, and as a result they are not subject to the same round of testing that is tested when making sure that there is no upwards compatibility issue.

Kind Regards,
Don

Moises, Donal:

There is a new set of extensions in Porter's dropbox folder. Please update the environment with these, clear browser cache and retest.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/6y27.../extensions.zip?dl=0

There was a security related change in 8202M that added security headers to /tdg based files. There was a conflict with direct references to .gz files in the extensions. The .gz references have been cleaned up in the new set of extensions.

Hi Terry,

Using the last version of the extension.zip provided on dropbox fix this problem.

Thanks for your assistance and please, close this case.

Moises
