Has anyone ever tried using Open Office with WebFOCUS?

Does WebFOCUS support Open Office?

If not, any plans to do so?

In FOCUS since 1985. Prod WF 8.0.08 (z90/Suse Linux) DB (Oracle 11g), Self Serv, Report Caster, WebServer Intel/Linux.

Not directly and not for EXL2K, Because Open Office does not (last time I used it) support MS archive documents.

Need to ask IBI about that but unless a very large organization paying a large amount of money requires it.
Probabley not. If they ever do it will be a new release feature and not ported back.

It's already a feature request .... but any additional pressure on IBI is welcome!

I have figured a clumsy way to make spreadsheets in Excel 97 work with OpenOffice, but that's it....
