I have a Graph focexec that produces anywhere from 1 to 12 graphs depending on the month of the year it's run in. All runs well in html where one graph follows the other down the web page. All is good there.

I'd like to route the output to pdf, but when I do it puts one graph at the top of each page instead of stacking three per page, for which there is plenty of room.

I'm a consultant on the site and I need to leave simple source code behind me when I finish up here. Is there a setting to tell WF to put multiple graphs on each piece of paper, or do I have to get ugly with looping through data values?

Thanks for any help in advance.

J.

Hi John,

From our technicals: This would be done using the Compound PDF Layout tool.
Documentation can be found in the

Creating Reports With WebFOCUS Language 7.7.03(DN#4501041.0511)

The following online document may be of interest as well:
* How to create compound PDF with variable number of Graphs?
* Create multiple Graphs side by side without the PDF Tool.
* How to create multiple GRAPHs within a PDF document

Cheers,

Kerry

This middle link somewhat applies, though it's going to be a big pile of ugly because there are a different number of graphs depending on when the report is run. So essentially I'll need to figure out how to handle space (and empty reports) when a month's report is not available.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. The lack of other response is a pretty good indication that what I'm asking for is not going to be simple.
