Lou DeTota here from SSA. We just upgraded CORE FOCUS 7.3.6 to 7.6.9 and have encountered numerous errors that we are trying to document for a case. These problems range from coding changes in the way to test a Smart Date for blanks to a complete failure of the IDMS interface both on-line and Batch with no resulting error information available. We have had to fall back to 7.3.6 to give us a break in the user reporting of issues with the 7.6.9 release.

As soon as we can complete documenting some of these issues we will open a case or cases.

There is also a problem with ROWS valuename OVER for a DEFINED field, no results are produced. If the output is set to go to an OFFLINE file, the file is empty. Without the ROWS command correct results are produced. ROWS OVER still works for a real field.

FYI, Lou has a case opended regarding this issue, and the current solution is to install a slightly newer release(7.6.11 instead of 7.6.9). They are still working on the installation with Customer Support Services via a case.
